Common Sense Business Solutions were contacted by the Facilities Manager at InfoStor, a large file and document storage company in Santa Rosa, California. At the time of our initial meeting InfoStor had a large collection of individual laser printers spread throughout their facility. These individual printers were costing a lot of money due to the high price of the toner cartridges; they didn’t offer any scanning functionality and didn’t offer them the quality to successfully print their color marketing materials. InfoStor was looking for a solution to lower their costs, provide scanning and accommodate their need to print high quality marketing materials on heavy card stock.
After asking questions and working together to clearly evaluate their printing and scanning needs we were able to provide a solution that was very well suited for what InfoStor wished to accomplish. We were able to replace all four of their existing laser printers with a single multifunction copy-print-scan system. The Konica Minolta Bizhub system that we provided addressed all of the issues that InfoStor was seeking to resolve;
- The cost to produce their administrative printing was reduced because they no longer had to purchase expensive cartridges because the Konica Minolta Bizhub we provided included an affordable support agreement that included all of the toner.
- The Konica Minolta Bizhub system that we provided offered fast, easy to use network scanning that allowed InfoStor’s entire staff to scan documents to folder that we setup on their computers. The 100 page document feeder and 70 pages a minute scan speed helped save the staff time on a daily basis.
- The Konica Minolta Bizhub that we provided allowed InfoStor to produce high quality, color marketing materials for just pennies a page. They were able to save money by eliminating the costs that they were previously spending to outsource color flyers and they gained the flexibility to print materials in any quantity necessary for one low cost per page regardless of whether they needed 1 flyer or 1,000.
Since that initial meeting Infostor has been a valued customer for over 5 years and has continued to benefit from the original Konica Minolta Bizhub system that we’d provided. In addition, Infostor has added an additional machine for their warehouse operations and has stated that they couldn’t be more pleased with the performance of the Konica Minolta equipment as well as the local support that we provide.
